Instruction For Applicants 

Students are advised to read the following instructions thoroughly before filling up the online forms. 

  • Undergraduate admissions for 2021-22 will be conducted only through the designated admission portal of Government general degree college at pedong. Eligible candidates must register themselves and then proceed to online application.

  •  Students should ensure they have a valid email id of their own and a dedicated contact number. It is preferable that the  number  is also their whats app number. These will be used for communicating with the student during the admission procedure and conduction of classes.

  • Applicants are NOT required to physically report to the college campus / office for submission of application/ documents/payment of admission fees or for any other reason during the admission process. Candidates can physically report to the college only if notification is made by the college.

  •   All information regarding undergraduate admission to Government General Degree College will be available our webpage.

  • Each student should have the following documents scanned for uploading 

    • A passport size photo of himself/herself 

    • Admit card of 10 th standard

    • Marksheet of 10+2 level examination

    • Reservation certificate issued by competent authority

    • Certificate issued for differently-abled persons.  by competent authority

  • All these documents should be scanned properly so that they can be verified for validation of applicants eligibility. unintelligible/ indistinct/ obscured documents may render the application invalid. 

  • During the application, all fields mentioned on the application form should be correctly entered after careful consideration. Candidates should revise and preview their application forms before final submission. No change/editing is possible once the final submission is made. 

  • Forms will be considered valid only if candidates make successful online submission of application forms and upload the required documents.  Candidates who fail to upload the required documents during online application will not be considered in the Comprehensive Provisional Merit List.

  • The college is not liable for any erroneous information provided by the candidates. 

  • Candidates can apply 24x7 during the above mentioned period. After uploading of documents  and successful online submission of application, applicants are required to download the submitted form generated and preserve the same for future reference. 

  • Only reservation Certificates issued  by competent authorities shall be accepted.

  • Only students passed out from university approved boards will be eligible for admission to the college. 

  • Any student can apply for more than one honours programme along with programme courses. Students don't have to pay application fees for the academic session of 2021-22.

  • Applicants are requested to check the webpage for updates related to admission processes. After submission of applications they are encouraged to check their emails and messages on a regular basis.
