Embracing the spirit of inclusivity and social justice, the Govt. General Degree College at Pedong stands firm in its commitment to uplift the socially, educationally, and economically disadvantaged sections of society. Upholding the principles enshrined in the Constitution of India, the institution pledges to safeguard the rights and dignity of all individuals, including those from SC/ST/OBC/Minority communities.
In line with this commitment, the SC/ST/OBC/Minority Cell was established in 2016 with the sole objective of empowering students from these communities, enabling their seamless integration into the college mainstream. This specialized cell operates with a proactive approach, offering comprehensive support services to SC/ST/OBC/Minority students enrolled in various academic programs.
