The Department of History at the Government General Degree College At Pedong was established on April 6, 2015, coinciding with the inauguration of the college itself. It is affiliated with the University of North Bengal. Since its inception, the department has offered both Honours and General Degree Courses in history, catering a wide range of academic interests and career aspirations.
